Attorney Education

I provide CLE seminars for prosecutors and defense attorneys on evaluating eyewitness evidence in criminal cases. These seminars discuss scientific principles related to eyewitness memory and identification, best practices for the collection of eyewitness evidence in a criminal investigation, and mechanisms for evaluating eyewitness evidence in any particular case. Recent CLE seminars have been given to the King County Prosecuting Attorneys Office, Pierce County Public Defender, UW School of Law, the Washington Association of Prosecuting Attorneys, and the Washington Defender Association.

Law Enforcement Training

I offer training to law enforcement agencies on evidence-based best practices for the collection of eyewitness evidence. These training sessions include optimal approaches to interviewing compliant witnesses and best practices for constructing and administering identification procedures.
